Premier Sports to broadcast UEFA National Team football in the UK including exclusive Scotland, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland fixtures from 2022-2024

Premier Sports is delighted to announce it has been awarded the rights to broadcast UEFA National Team football in the United Kingdom from 2022 to 2024 encompassing the UEFA Nations League and European Qualifiers to UEFA EURO 2024.

This includes all of Scotland’s fixtures beginning with their UEFA Nations League fixture versus Armenia on June 8th, all of Northern Ireland’s matches starting with the home tie against Greece on June 2nd and all of Republic of Ireland’s matches kicking off with their away trip to Armenia on June 4th.

Premier Sports is set to broadcast the League B, Group 1 tie of the Republic of Ireland versus Scotland on June 11th exclusively live in the UK and the return match at Hampden Park on September 24th.

The deal kicks off with the highly anticipated Finalissima between Copa America holders Argentina and UEFA EURO 2020 winners Italy, in a sold-out glamour tie at Wembley on June 1st.

Premier Sports will become the home of UEFA National team Football with over 400 games set to be broadcast over international weeks throughout 2022, 2023 and 2024. The coverage will include live rights to all other matches involving non-UK teams included in UEFA’s 2022 – 2024 national team football portfolio where Spain face Portugal and Italy host Germany in the opening round of the UEFA Nations League in early June.

Highlights and certain live matches featuring Scotland and Northern Ireland will also be available via free-to-air.

This latest deal with UEFA further enhances Premier Sports investment in Scottish football, adding to existing broadcast deals around the Scottish Cup and the Premier Sports Cup.

The UEFA Nations League and European Qualifiers adds to an existing stellar line up of football on Premier Sports already broadcasting the biggest games from the Scottish Cup, Premier Sports Cup, LaLiga, Coppa Italia, Copa del Rey, German Cup and the MLS as well as every game from the United Rugby Championship.

Live games on Premier Sports will be broadcast across digital and mobile platforms with Premier Sports available in every UK home via Sky, Virgin TV, Amazon Prime and the Premier Player.
