Premier Sports to become the home of knockout football in Scotland

From 2019 the channel will air the biggest games from the William Hill Scottish Cup for the next 6 years then in 2020 both the Scottish and League Cups will be broadcast.

First up on Friday the 18th of January we have live coverage of Cowdenbeath v Rangers at 7:45pm followed by Celtic v Airdrie at 5:15pm on Saturday the 19th of January.

Premier will have 1st  and 2nd  pick of matches in the 4th  round, last 16 and quarter-final stages as well as 1st  pick of the semi-finals. The final will be shown on BBC Scotland and Premier.

From 2020 for 5 years the channel will also add exclusive coverage of the Betfred League Cup covering up to 16 matches from the group stages through to the final stages. Alongside our coverage of Scottish Clubs in European qualifiers we expect to deliver at least 26 matches a year.

The channel aims to bring a high level of production similar to what has been achieved on our PRO14 coverage where we broadcast all 152 matches and produce 70 with our partners at Sunset and Vine. Viewers can expect high camera specs, minimum 30 minute build-ups, extended post match analysis and at least 3 guests on each game.

Keep an eye on our social media as we announce our talent for Scottish football in the coming weeks where every game matters.
